The name and idea of the "spear of destiny" is a tradition related to an artifact. It is not part of the Bible.
The Bible has been heavily edited and paired down to only include certain "authorized" histories.
There are many other histories, all with varying degrees of acceptance. Some have even been included then later removed from what would become the Bible we know today.
The Arc of the Covenant might be in Ethiopia. Christ might have traveled to India and America after his Resurrection. The spearhead from the lance of Longinus might have been saved and passed down. The Holy Grail might be a cup, a ladder, a bloodline, or a concept.
Believe what you choose and enjoy the possibilities.

No, but the Gospel of John (19:31-37) DOES mention the lance that you're speaking of.
And yes, my link will take you to the Holy Lance, because "spear of destiny" "is a name given to the Holy Lance in various stories that attribute mystical powers to it. Many of these have originated in recent times and several popular new age and conspiracy theory books have popularized the legend of the spear."

No, that's just the name given by tradition to the spear that pierced the side of Christ. In the same way, the gospels never refer to the cup of the Last Supper as the "grail."
