Are you happy living in Canada? or do you want to leave it? if so, where would you go?

Do you think you have a good quality of life and a good job there?

I am currently living abroad (Germany) and I cannot wait to return to my home.

In my opinion Canada is one of the best countries in the world to live for so many different reasons (which I am too lazy to type out)

Canada's a beautiful country. It has a great government structure, looks after it's residents and I think is the only place in the world that offers so many opportunities to people, especially in the entrepreneurial field.
I think if there were palm trees here then everyone would live here, so that's why it's cold. :) Can't have all of the world's population living here, however there is probably enough room ;)
I have a great quality of life and a great job here, but I would love to live in a hot country just for a bit. Like mexico for example. I think I would end up coming back though and just going on lots of vacations.

I am definitely happy living in Canada. I would never want to emigrate to another country (well except for maybe a better climate). The standard of living is so high in Canada that I am not sure if I could be happy anywhere else. I would live to travel, but I would never not want to return to my home.

8th Generation Canadian and waiting for my green card to move to the US.

Am I happy in Canada. Yes. Do I think that my quality of life will improve in the US. Most likely.

I have a good job in Canada, but the high taxation combined with the sorry state of our health care system is bothersome. My sister who lives in the States and works a $10/hour job has a better health care plan then I can buy in Canada and pays way less for it. Same with my parents health care plan, I can't find anything in Canada that comes close.....it is a little depressing.

As for quality of life, the sheer amout of choices in stores and the pricing being cheaper for most goods would allow me to make different choices, with the most important being food. My parents visited and forgot how expensive fresh fruit and vegetables are in Canada compared to the US.

I think the major thing here, is that after a long time in one place you see the negatives a lot more, and you start looking for a change.

Love Canada! Love being a Canadian.

However, living in the Eastern part of the Country when the Western side of the Country is booming. I would recommend anybody looking to move here for jobs to go west. We have had the largest number of young men move West in the past year looking for work then during the Depression! Pretty scary.

They are closing Tim Hortons there at supper time cause they can't get people to work for $15.00 an hour at a coffee shop!!! Yep, totally true :)

I have lived in Vancouver most of my life but, I do love traveling and seeing other countries and cultures. When I graduated from university I lived in London England for a year and a half. I really enjoyed it over there. Last May I traveled to Europe and visited Hamburg, Berlin, Dresden, Prague, Vienna, Salzburg and Graz. I just loved it over there! The public transportation over there is excellent; so is the food and beverages; so much history; etc. I could happily move to Europe - like London again, or Vienna - if given the opportunity. Now, don't get me wrong, I do like Vancouver and I have an excellent job right now in human resources at a local tv station, but I found Europe to be a lot more interesting and varied.

I like living in Canada, but I really want to move from Ontario to the BC coastal area. I have a really good quality of life, and I am becoming a teacher and there are plenty of teaching jobs around :)

Born and raised in Canada and happy. Well educated with a good job.

I love traveling and seeing the world. I have been to 7 other countries. Yet, I wouldn't want to live there. I have found no reason to move to any of them, nor a current desire to live anywhere else.

I love Canada!! And I love living in Canada!!
I am originally from the U.S.A.
I can't think of anywhere I would rather live.
Quality of life is excellent, IMO.
Quality of job is so-so, but that is for a variety of reasons, not neccessarily anything to do with Canada itself.

I LOVE Canada! I have the best life ever, with a great job. There is no worry about money for my family and we aren't scared about war or bombings like we would be if we lived in USA. Don't get me wrong, USA is great, but I just prefer Canada!
