To answer your question - yes, there were many Jews in the German Wehrmacht (armed forces) during World War II.
There is a very good book out on the subject called "Hitler's Jewish Soldiers: The Untold Story of Nazi Racial Laws and Men of Jewish Descent in the German Military" by Bryan Mark Rigg, which you can purchase on Amazon.com, or through your local book store (ask them to order it if they don't have it in stock).
An online blogger, Vertical Pulse, sums up some of the key points of that book on their website at (http://www.verticalpulse.com/my_weblog/2006/01/jewish_soldiers.html), and if you don't want to purchase the book, I would recommend this as a starting point.
What you have to understand is that many of the people who were considered Jews by the German were not actually Jews under the Talmudic law - but people of Jewish descent, or "Mischlinge" (part-Jewish).
Also, you have to bear in mind that not all branches of the Wehrmacht were created equal. In organizations such as the U-Boat service and the Luftwaffe, members had to prove their aryan heritage by way of their family tree (generally back to the late 1700's) and were also often required to be Nazi party members.
On a side note, even the Hitler Youth made provisions for members who were not entirely of German blood - they could still be members and be promoted to leadership positions with special permission if they proved themselves to be "worthy".

Yes there were many Jews in the German military especially the Navy. Hitler's personal driver was also Jewish. You can look up Hitler'driver on Google and get his name and biography. There were also Islamic SS divisions, East Indian SS Divisions, Blacks from Africa, among others. The statement that if they were found out to be Jewish is faulse. I think the mass amount of races proves that. There was 1 division which traced your lineage as German but that one division was representing Germany on a symbolic and nationalist level. The other divisions were not inferiors or treated as such. They were from various countries and willing fighters. The case of Jesse Owens and his treatment in Germany while competing in the Olympics for the US shoes how the Germans really regarded other races. You can Google him. Not to mention the multicultural SS divisions.

Most of the people in the German army- I said MOST, not all- were not Jews because to join the German army you had to have pretty thorough family records of ancestry and birth, etc., for just that reason, to prove you weren't Jewish and to prove you didn't have any Jewish relatives. Although some managed to get away with it if, say, their Mom was Jewish and their Dad was German, etc., and they lied about it and it never made it into the documentation. Plus Hitler was obsessed w/ creating a master race of blond-haired blue-eyed people, and people w/ Jewish ancestry tend to be darker, so they may have been found out by appearance alone. This is just my opinion but I would say that probably very few Jews would have done that, even to survive. It would have been terrible for them. Imagine the guilt.

I think Sri Vidya Rajgopalan has given the correct answer. But the Answer is very long. Let me explain you in short. Ram built a Bridge instead of ship because he thought, if in the war with Ravana more army of Varana is required then it will be easy to bring reinforcement through a Bridge Than to send ship.

It would have been next to impossible unless you took on the identity of a true German. The Germans checked backgrounds on all military personal back at least 3 generations & further, if possible; to trace any Jewish blood in the family.
I too saw europa & although it was a true story, that man was indeed fortunate in not being found out. The story show just how close he came to being found out but, by sheer luck, was saved; he thanked God.
