Sometimes we women try too hard to make men express their feelings with words. When a man loves us, it's typically shown to us, rather than said with words. Other times, we smother the man in our lives, & don't allow him the freedom to give his love to us on his terms, & in his way. Instead of expecting him to say "I love you too", think of the ways your man has demostrated his love to you. & be appreciative, because some women never experience love at all. When he does tell you he loves you, don't take away from his moment, just show him how much you love him in return!!! Hope I've been of some help.

This is more than a case of not being able to express his feelings. The guy has no feelings for you to express, which is why he relies on being polite. Some guys (like me) are very emotional and romantic. If this is what you want, keep looking and don't settle for less.

Perhaps he is a man who doesn't throw the word around too loosely. I've noticed that a lot of people start throwing around the term "love" far too easily. To eventually hear the word sincerely is better than constantly hearing it with no substance.

You have asked a multilayered question-it's conditioning, genetic, brain structure, hormonal and at times a power/control thing. Not all guys are like that-some are very emotional and expressive with their feelings; like women, we also don't want to get hurt too.

Not all guys are like that. I dont know how long you have been seeing each other, but maybe he isnt ready for that type of commitment. When me and one of my exes were dating and everything, I told her I loved her and every which thing, but it never seemed enough. I would tell her how I feel, but then she would ask how I feel and I would be looking at her like she was crazy. She wanted me to tell her more feelings than what I had ever felt before. But maybe your boyfriend isnt ready for that type of commitment yet.

In general guys are tought to be tough and not show there emotions unlike girls that are emotional constantly. Just like the others said, he doesnt feel the same. If he truly loved you he would say it.

everyone is different in how they express their love...girls and guys alike all have different views on expressing love...most men arent that great with words...but dontput yourself down if he isnt repsonding to your words but instead look at the other things he does for you and appreciate them as his love

Consider that what he is saying to you is all that he wants to express to you.

Hint; He's Just Not That Into You.

guys have been conditioned to keep their feelings in --- he may not feel the same way about you ---- he may want to hide his feelings as he does not want to be hurt --- sit him down and talk to him --- if you cant do that you will never be able to keep the relationship fresh --- best wishes

we men don't have the habit of expressing ourselves freely....when we say words like "ok and thank you"..we mean it.
