Hold it above her heart, and use pressure. If it looks deep, or won't stop bleeding get her to a dr.

Do NOT take them to the Emergency Room. They will wait a couple hours just to see a doctor who will say "looks like it's already clotted and seems to be approximating well." Not to mention the fact that, unless you have Medicaid, you will pay $200 minimum.
Do everything everyone else said unless they have lost enough blood to make them light-headed. I'm sure you've already made some sort of decision already, anyhow.

Tie a wrap super hard around the cut and put gauze and some cotton.Eventually that will pressure the bleeding and it will make a scab.

apply pressure to it, wrap something around it tightly but not too tight, and if it continues to bleed or is really deep go to the emergency room, they have to take you even if you don't have insurance...but, apply pressure to it, and if it's alot of loss of blood don't take any chances with your kids..go seek professonal help..

all you do is get some poroxcide cotton balls and a bandaid or get first aid kit then finish it off with a little kiss and mabey go out for ice cream....

soap & water then hydrogen peroxide. then neosporin bandaid if it doesn't work press on cut hard nd it will slow it down.
