If you believe that a Pagan town would be a Utopia, I think you're out of touch with reality. Not all Pagans are "nicey-nice", and not all Pagans get along well with others. There are egos and arrogance and those who want power at the expense of others in the Pagan community, just as there is in any group of people.

There's enough tolerance for pagans, shamans and wiccans to get together in the same place, but it wouldn't be "Utopia"... the outside world might likely interfere.

i dont think it would be a utopia .. and if it is count me - out. but atleast it would be nice to get into a pagan majority community, would be more events aimed at us, little to no discrimination. for the most part it would be a breath of fresh air for the pagans. enough that i would most likely move considering the climate is reasonable for me.

of course there would be enough tolerance .. you might see your odd fundementalist ruffling feathers but i don't think he would stay to long if thats all hes doing there ...

Pagan town? I thought Pagan meant country dweller, living in the garden and knowing the truth of life. Is this wrong?

Salem, Massachusetts has a high Pagan population, and it is a hate crime to discriminate against them there. I'm thinking about moving there myself.

remember the saying "trying to get Pagans to agree on anything, is like trying to herd cats".

I am not saying it couldn't be done, but come on dear lady, you know better.

Maybe. You might look at www.cohousing.org. People who are like-minded get together and buy land.
