I want to sell my deceased son's property & collectables (books, model cars, coins, dvds, vhs, etc) How to find the value of items and how do I get best prices?

if you are serious, try to get the items to a certified appraiser. you can find them in your phone book.

Model cars are a good candidate for ebay. They do actually get good prices. The rest may require some investigation. Coins can be a touchy thing on ebay.

For free you can get some ideas off ebay - other from that I'd used a valuers but only from recommendation from friends/family/colleagues at work
