About once every two months, I break out badly, with large painful pus filled pimples. I'll get a couple big ones on my face, a couple on my arms, and maybe a couple on my chest or back. I used to break out alot when I was in my teens but now it's dwindled to this. I've been on Proactiv for about three weeks with no change seen. Could this be related to food? Anybody else have this issue?

Your breakouts are partially hormonal imbalance and could also be stress with a poor diet, you need to eat green leafy foods to help cleanse you from the inside out also a great food supplement that builds new tissue is bee royal jelly it is an amazing product, its an antibacterial and immune builder, and finally I would follow up with overall good personal hygiene try the medicated acne line by bee-luscious skincare it will keep the breakouts calm and gone...good luck

its most likely hormones

i had horrible acne too and i found the perfect stuff

HERES WHATS GOING ON
we just learned about this in anatomy

your sebacious gland (your oil gland) is getting clogged, and this forms a white head. Well, when this happens in open air, it turns black causing a black head, and when the blackhead gets infected, it causes a pimple. an active infection is what is known as acne

THE BEST PRODUCT for BLACKHEADS and acne
Its been proven
is called ACNEFREE, it clears the sebaceous gland and dries up the pores. you can get it almost anywhere and it works great for everyone i know who uses it
it comes in 3 steps, but i also purchased the 4th step, called ther acne and blackhead terminator. It is prescription quality, but much cheaper

It's definitely hormonal pimples, and it need to be treated with an oral antibiotic, not a topical antibiotic like proactiv. Go to a dermatologist and they'll give you a pill.
