A puppy should eat 3 times a day. You should put the bowl down and give her atleast 5 minutes and then pick it up until next feeding time. That way you get the dog on a schedule but the dog should always have freash water!

Feed her once a day at a set time. I feed my dogs every morning, then leave thier bowls down, empty or full until the next morning.
