I have met alot of people in my 33 years . I am surprised at how many are so unhappy. Alot of these people seem like they have alot to be happy about. Money family etc yet they are unhappy. Many are good people though. They are just unhappy. Many times they get what they said would make them happy yet they arn't. I nhave some ideas about it. However i would like to hear what other think also.

I think my sister is that way. All she does is spend spend spend but she never seems happy. On the week ends she is always shuffling her kids off on my mom or her mother in law so her and her husband can go out and spend more money and the thing is they don't have money. I just don't understand- honestly that would make me have nightmares to know that I was in that much debt. I personally think if she is gonna spend she needs to invest in a good SHRINK, and I say that because I love her but I think she must think she has to buy things to make her happy.

There are some folks who seem to have been born unhappy and nothing brings them any happiness but to be unhappy. I think if they never admit to being happy then they can't be hurt. In a way it is self protection. How sad not to feel happiness.

Some people have never learned self-acceptance, self-love and the art of looking for happiness from within rather than gratification from external things. The lack of spirituality and a sense of groundedness (mind, body, and sould connection) creates a very uncertain person, an empty person.

Happiness is a state of mind. It all depends on an individual’s outlook on life and themselves. Unfortunately quite a lot of people are uncomfortable in their own skin.

It keeps us striving. Not necessarily a bad thing.
