Everyone at some point in their lives feels like they're an island.
In the words of John Donne:
"All mankind is of one author, and is one volume; when one man dies, one chapter is not torn out of the book, but translated into a better language; and every chapter must be so translated...As therefore the bell that rings to a sermon, calls not upon the preacher only, but upon the congregation to come: so this bell calls us all: but how much more me, who am brought so near the door by this sickness....No man is an island, entire of itself...any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind; and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee."

Congratulations on escaping the clutches of following a bronze/iron age e book blindly without information! i became right into a Christian for 2 many years beginning at age 10. (in case you may call somebody at that age a Christian) It wasn't relatively a one factor that unexpectedly made me an Atheist. It became into after years of careful learn of religion and their arguments for his or her ideals. i became into making plans on turning out to be a biblical pupil. i assumed it would be exciting to be sure the Christian defenses for why they think of its real and the protection for why people think of it relatively is not real. The Christian arguments did no longer carry any water and the Atheist arguments made a lot of expertise. After that I regarded at different religions and the non-believer arguments continually made extra experience. So I evaluate me an Atheist on each faith that I even have studied so some distance.

Maybe you are depressed, I was. I find myself sabotaging my relationships with the people around me. I don't understand it but yet I do it. I have Bipolar Disorder also so that might have something to do with it. Maybe you want to check out some clinics are something. Good Luck!

Sometimes I feel that way also. I dont think thats depression but it could possibly be that you just have low self esteem and dont feel like people like you because you are always thinking they dont want to be around you or talk to you. But I dont know thats just a thought. You just have to build your self esteem and confidence up and people will approach you , because if know one does now they probably see someone who doesnt want to be around others and all. Hope that helps...

Yeah, I feel that way a lot. Sometimes I understand that it isn't logical, but at other times I can't seem to help feeling that way. Have you tried talking to someone about this, or even your doctor?

Don't stress about it too much. It should be something natural. And . . . suicide doesn't solve problems. It only ends YOUR problem physically. That's if you were considering it with your "bye."

In order to have friends you must first show yourself friendly
You could try Prayer to "our" lord and savior Jesus Christ in whom all power in heaven and earth is vested
