Is it really True that (being Chilled & feeling Cold) really causes a person to catch the 'Common COLD' ??

Or do only (COLD-Germs) causes Common COLD ??

I am a strong believer for decades that only GERMS causes COLDS. Not from being and feeling Cold to the skin.

I have been Chilled to the bone. Even my skin feeling super 'Cold' many apon many times.
Have I gotten COLDS from (Feeling Cold ??)
Never once.

I go to work with No jacket all the time when it's a Cold 35 degrees. I hate jackets. They get in the way of my life style.
Yeah,,,I get a little Cold and Chilled with Goose-Bumps. But again, do I catch COLDS by doing this ??
Not at all.

So why are there Billions of people that been taught to believe the COLDS are caused by being Chilled and being Cold to the touch of skin ??

It is probably because in winter or colder temps the common cold is more common, and if you are coming down with a cold and get chilled your body will have a harder time fighting off the cold,. Which will make it easier for the cold to settle in and possible develop into pneumonia.
