Nope - the smoking ban went into effect on January 2nd. There are some exceptions to the ban, but it's pretty much only for hookah bars / cigar bars.

I believe smoking is still allowed in parts of Northern Virginia, though.

No smoking ban just took affect earlier this year

You CAN, but you'd get tossed pretty quickly. They passed a ban that took effect a few months ago.
