Chop up the Velveeta. Put it in a Crock-pot on high. Add 1 can of Ro-Tel tomatoes and 1 lb. of browned hamburger meat. Stir occasionally (every 30-45 minutes). It will probably take 2 1/2 to 3 hours to melt and heat. You can speed the process along by microwaving the cheese before putting it in the Crock-pot. Serve with tortilla chips, Fritos, or raw veggies like carrots and broccoli.

You just cut the cheese up in squares and put in a microwaveable bowl. Nuke for 1 min then stir and 1 min thereafter until all melted. I like to add cooked hamburger meat and salsa to mine. YUM YUM

You gotta add a jar of salsa to the cheese. Don't use 100% power on the microwave if it's burning your cheese when you are trying to melt it.

first I heat up about a 1/2 cup milk on low in a med pot then I add small chunks of velveta to it and stir constantly. I usually use about 1/3 of the block.

If you're using the block of Velveeta, cut it up into small cubes first.

cut it into 1"-2" squares
put it in the microwave for 45 seconds at a time.
Every time it stops stir it with a rubber spatula and scrape the sides of the bowl when ya do.
I like to add a can of rotel to mine but you can just put in ...pretty much anything you like with it ....and then it's dip.
If you just want it to be plain you might add a few tablespoons of milk to it while it's cooking.
Oh yeah..add your ingredients (like rotel) while the cheese is microwaving.
