neighbours daugther had spent the entire day in rollers when her brother and my son threw some balloons filled with water at her and ruined her set. her mother and me asked her about how we should teach the boys a lesson.Her daughter has asked that we set their longish hair as punishment should we do it and do you think that the punishment fits the crime?

That's a great idea. Just don't throw water balloons at them or they will think it's a game. You gotta love kids and the situations they put us in. Now we know what we put our parents through!!

Trying to set it would be torture for whomever was trying to do the set, they will be difficult and take them out as soon as you are not looking .
There must be something they take time to set up that you can interrupt with out real damage ?
Some video game that keeps points ? unplug it when they are 3/4 way through . . .
Anything they are building like with Lego's ? topple it.
You gave us no idea of their ages or what they do BUT
Identify something they put time into , then pull the rug out.

I think you ought to shave their heads. They may think it's funny at first, but wait until it starts growing back in and they get teased all the time. Then they'll learn why people spend time trying to look nice.

or you could ask them to write her a letter saying they're sorry and why. it could be more productive and might actually teach thme something for the long run. lol

lol. i think you should dye it some wierd hair color too. and make sure its like semi-permanent. that would be a harsher way. but i like your way to. its not as harsh but still fun. (make sure to take pictures when they are sleeping or something)
