Eternity is a little harsh. I mean, you F*ck up for a relativly short amount of time (your life) and you go to hell forever?

But, I think I'm going to Hell. Not because I'm a horrible baby-killer, but I have no faith.

Good question dear. Here is my answer for you. I do hope it helps.

"For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God"

This means you, me, and everyone else too!

We are all sinners, we sin daily, but if we ask forgiveness when we realize we have sinned? We are forgiven, and God casts our sins into the Sea of Forgetfulness.

We all deserve to suffer God's wrath for what sins we have done, but Christ died on the cross to allow us the option to choose salvation and His forgiveness.

God did not create Hell for mankind, He created it for Satan and his angels/demons. It was when Eve and Adam sinned that He saw we would fight against the grain He created us to live. Then after He died, rose again, and ascended into Heaven? He then made an option available to us all to choose Heaven or Hell. He does not simply throw men and women randomly into Hell, no, for we choose Heaven or Hell by our own Free Wills. If we sin and do not seek repentance, if we deny Him in any way [even His existance], or if we dennounce Him totally? Then we deserve Hell. However we can never attain the ability to deserve Heaven.

None deserve God's perfect love-forgiveness-Heaven-Etc, No NOT ONE!

We do not get to Heaven because we deserve it, we get to Heaven by the mercy, grace, love, and forgiveness of God.

Blessings~Light~Love~&~Peace... 2 All,
Jewel

I deserve hell and who knows, I may still get there. Just because we say we love God does not mean we will avoid hell.

I know I deserve it. I just know that I won't becuase Jesus died for me. That's the whole point of the gospel. Anyone who says different is not truly Christian, but only an imposter.

I certainly don't "deserve" paradise for all eternity.

Actually everyone deserves it, but Jesus died on the cross to save us. No-one can earn their way into heaven.

i have done anough things to have a toasty spot in hades. trust me on that...
but i do believe that god is merciful. i have sincerely repented for the wrong that i've done (which he asks us to do). having done that, i can only wait and see when it's my time.

btw- excellent question!
