Okay, everyday around the same time like 10am or so my face out of nowhere turns red and i feel this heat emitting from it. I have tried not using make up, i have tried not using my usual soap and just using water, but i still get them. I'm usually in class so i know it's not sun exposure. I reside in Miami, so it's usually warm but i have never gotten this before. Can anyone tell me what it could be? i really appreciate it, thanks.

I don't think it's hot flashes. That usually feels like someone turned on an oven somewhere in your stomach and then it spreads. I would go see my physician. You could possibly have the start of rosaceia or there is a chance you could be trying to go into early menopause. There could be a number of other things, such as the air in that classroom being too dry or something triggering an allergic reaction. Your doctor should be able to help you figure out what's going on and how to treat it. Good luck!

Here is the stage one symptom of rosacea:
Flushing or redness (known as erythema) lasts for hours or days. Sensitive skin. Red lines (a condition known as Telangiectases) may appear. Eyes may be sore.

It could be the heat. The "heat" from the sun. Red skin is called Erythema. Thin skin is called athophy. If your skin is thin, it will be very sensitive to temperature changes. Keep your skin cool. Try not wear suntan lotion with oil on your face. The oil in traps in the heat. When you feel your skin getting hot, spray it with a mist of water from a spray bottle. It will heal, but it will take several months. Keep your face out of heat of the sun.

You may be experiencing a condition called hyperhidrosis. It is a situation where people experience excessive sweating in various areas of the body, or facial blushing. It can be treated in a variety of ways, including simple surgery, or (believe it or not) Botox. Talk with your doctor to see if this is what you are dealing with. Good luck!

Go to the doctor and get your thryroid checked. This is a likely cause and can happen to anyone at any age. The other possible cause could be hormones.
