I was wondering if anyone has a skating routine they could tell me? I need to thik of one, but mine don't spark much interest. If you can, could you tell me the year you used it what ISI level it is, the order of moves and the song you used? I would greatly appriciate it, and I would like to spread the word that http://www.shareneskatewear.com/index.php willl deliver goodie bags to your competition. Thanks so much!

I would suggest watching mutliple figure skating videos and combine your favorite parts. I do this for my exhibitions, and it usually turns out very nicely.
As far as competition rules and requirements, they depend on your skating level. http://www.sk8stuff.com/m_rules.htm has all the details.

You should probably get a coach to help you choreograph a program, because you have to have certain elements in your program, depending on what level you are competiting in. Anyway, I've never competed in ISI only USFSA so I don't think any of my programs would help. Some good music choices would be:
Gypsy Rhapsody by Bond
Suite from the Polar Express by Alan Silvestri from Polar Express
Oh, Celia by Randy Newman from Monsters, Inc.

First of all I think that you should get a coach to help you. But if that's not possible than what you need to do is find out what the required elements are for your level, find some music you really like (listen to soundtracks they are usually good) and choreograph your program around the required elements.

I can not give you a routine because i am competing in March for the first time, and i am still working on the beginning. But you should have your coach help you with the routine.
