How do I introduce him to my parents? He's the greatest guy, I haven't seen him outside of the online world, but we've helped each other through hard times and just have the greatest time through talk. We have this cool dream of seeing each other for the first time at my senior prom... kind of like a fairy tale...lol... what do I do?

After three years, don't you think keeping a lie would be pretty riddiculous? What does it matter, he's never pushed me to do anything, it's me who wanted to meet him. He's had a girlfriend before until just recently, so I thought it would be cool to meet him at a public, school dance. Nothing wrong with that is there?

Go on a date at Walmart. Meet in person in a very very public place. Then, if you think he'll do... Tell your parents you met him through friends, but you mainly keep in touch with him online bc of schedule conflicts.

If you haven't met him offline yet, then you might want to think about that FIRST before trying to introduce him to your parents and stuff. He could be a pervert that has been lying to you, believe me, okay? one of my friends started talking to this guy on the internet and sharing all this important stuff with each other and they thot they were in love. And she met him IN PERSON before they started dating on the internet. He turned out to be one of the biggest perverts ever. So becareful, if he turns out to be what u think he is, then introduce him to your parents as your boyfriend as you would any other guy.

I would say the same thing as the first guy. "What happens online stays online. Plus how do you know he looks like the pictures he displayed?

even if he sounds nice and perfect and all that,
it is just 2 easy to lie about yourself on the internet.

it's stupid to get involved w/ someone u know through the internet.

He may not be what the computer screen is showing you. He could be a 47 year old man who wants info about you so he can rape you.

Meeting with a stranger at her age is the most stupidest thing she can do. You should inform her parents, they would have more sway in this situation.
