I have just turned 60, I have had cats all my life both indoors and outdoors. If I have not had a cat, or access to one (neighbor moved off, with cat; cat came back and stayed): depression sets in and I feel so 'alone'. Cats have always my free tranquilizers, just listening to the purr and petting them. I now have the neighbor cat, and another one that visits. AND feed most of the cats in the neighborhood although noton purpose..
Besides: cats are people too.

I love cats. Anyone who doesn't like cats doesn't know them very well.
Aside from our 2, I recently adopted a feral girl after months of getting her to trust me. Many of the folks on YA helped me when I had problems with her in the beginning, and she has become the funniest, most loving little critter I have ever known!

Well Erika, I never liked cats before but my son had to go to Afghanistan with the military and my wife and I are caring for his cat while he is away. Cats grow on you. My wife was always very afraid of cats but now she lets the cat sit on her lap. He always comes to me to get scratched behind the ears and on the jowls. My son is coming home within a week and we'll have to give him back, and that will be hard. By the way, his name is Shadow Kat.

I don't like cats; I LOVE them. If I could find a lifetime career devoted soley to helping cats (while making decent money), I would. I have loved cats since I was a young boy, and I still love them. They're cute and cuddly, and make great companions for people of all ages.

My 2 cats are the only ones who can affectionately show me how much they love me by purring madly and dribbling on me when I cuddle them. I love my 2 cats alot.

IdoIdoIdo!!! Those furry felines, are PURRIFIC!
Though I'm more comfy around female kitties than to male ones, I'm drawn to both.
Unlike my sister who has 2 female and one male, I have no cats but maybe someday, I will have one or two! KITTIES RULE - MEOW!
