Now why don't we go over all the people that god killed or caused to die in the bible. Or we could just even pick one book. Let's start with Genesis.

Well, there was that time that he wiped out the entire planet except for Noah, even killing all the animals.

I think that is a good start. Maybe you could add more.

The question was "How are god and oj simpson alike"

I answered they are both killers.

Simple answering of the question, and it is true. Or maybe those were people that believe OJ was innocent?

I understand what you are saying. That is why for years as a Christian I would not read the Old Testament. I just read the New Testament and trusted in the gentle Jesus. Which is fine, a person can do that. But, as I have grown in faith I have discovered that I want to know this God of the Old Testament and why did these things happen. Because in my heart I believe in the goodness of God, the faithfulness of God. From my limited understanding of the OT. God as you may be aware chose the Jewish nation as "His People". This is because God made Covenant with Abraham and it was at that time God was preparing a people who would be the line that the Christ would come from. He did not want anything to interfere with this plan of salvation for the entire world for all generations. So any time "His people" were rebellious or got mixed up with pagan nations there was judgement, swift and mighty on them and those who would try to lead them astray. This is just a short answer, it has taken the Bible 66 books to tell the story of God, I only have a few spaces to give you a hint of what happened.

Lets start by defining which god you are talking about. By the definition of most Christians Muslims etc there is only one god and that god is who they individually define him to be.

However just what definition do you use. If you say god is the god of moses you are right. That god was a mean one that even threatened to kill moses because his son had not been circumcised a practice that was not common among the people moses had gone to live with after he P---ed the Egyptians off.

The disaster of the flood is best explained by the scientific explanation for the demise of the dinosaurs. Just the timing is off. The divine act was to warn noah 200 years before the disaster that wiped all other land baised life off the planet.
Also many animal species were saved.

the relaxing section is the position the Believers insist that the God of the former testomony isn't somewhat one killer, because the former testomony comments the drowning of al the toddlers in the international, and any firstborn infant son in Egypt. and then they declare that, because Jesus did not kill any toddlers, we ought to continuously no longer elevate the previous atrocities dedicated with assistance from the daddy. (yet, Jesus says "the daddy and that i are ONE." So if Jesus isn't ashamed of what the daddy did, he's an adjunct to each and every atrocity.) Thumbs, up or down, are literally not as major because the info. And there are merely 2 options: God killed toddlers, or the comments of activities contained in the Bible are literally not authentic. that is the position being a member of a non-Abrahamic faith may look extra eye-catching. you do not favor to describe away countless piles of lifeless toddlers. Atheism works, too. No God = no God killing toddlers.

Hey, now let's be fair. If you're going to blame God for all the bad things that are recorded in the Bible, you have to blame him for all the good things too. Existence is a start. That whole "thou shalt not kill" thing by which you're judging God is another.

If god is the god I'm thinking of, he doesn't make decisions like that. How can this abundant energy force that is uncomprehentionable to humankind make a decision to kill? Maybe the bible is wrong. Ever research the making of the bible? That will give your faith a jolt.

I think you missed out the giving life part. I would have give you a thumbs down for such a unbalanced answer (if i did rate answers) You should maybe think that God may kill, but he can make more. This isn't evil if you think about it this way.
We are all going to die. God just influences the time. Mortality is 100% in every generation.

I agree, there have been more people killed in the name of God or for the glory of God, or have claimed that God is on their side. Its funny that people can't put their faith in something they have never seen...One of the most violent, bloody, war laden books you can read is, in fact, the bible. Between all the plagues, sacrifices, stonings, crucifixtions, hangings, its a wonder that this God is the leader of Christians, people who pride themselves on their good will and charity.

He killed everyone the Israelites faced. he helped David kill Goliath.

If you believe in predestination like me, you believe that God killed everyone who ever died. But that's not a bad thing. They good are with him, feeling no pain. They are in a better place.

And the bad are receiving what they deserve. Justice.

What is the final count in the Bible, I think that it is God well over 2 million that he has MURDERED and the Devil, well pretty much nobody. Who is the EVIL one? Not hard to pick which one is good and which one is obviously not.
