okay, i kinda asked this before, but some of the answers i got didn't really help me. so, here goes...
i met this guy before christmas, and we talked ALL the time. and into all hours of the night. we really connected. and after a few weeks, i couldn't talk to him as much because i went back to college. and now he barely talks to me when we do talk to each other. we don't have the same connection we did before. now its very awkward(long silences) or we fight. should i move on? or should i let him figure out what he wants to do. i really like him, but if he isn't sure, maybe i need to let him go? plz help!!

you def. need to let him go,
He's apparantly not worth you time.
If anything, let him come to you but give him his space.

You mentioned that u talked to him ALL the time... now at one point you can exhaust all the topics that are usually used between two people that are getting to know each other, e.g. past relationships, childhood stories.. etc, after that the topics shift to points of interest, like music and stuff like that, then the more personal topics come up as u start feeling comfortable openning up to the person. it's obvious that there is a lack of communication, which alwayss leads to fights, mostly for insignificant reasons. What you need to do is build a bridge between you and him, be honest with him, tell him how you're feeling, and then listen to his answer, if you notice that he's concerned about the same thing then maybe you can work out things from there, but if he doesn't seem to be botheres then he's not worth it. You can't be the only one putting all the effort into the relationship, it should go both ways. goodluck :)

In all relationships there are harder times that sometimes you can't figure out. I suggest that if what you fight about is seriously important to each of you and you are on different sides.... That you try and focus on things that are a little less serious, and find something you connect on : television, most things for entertainment, and try avoiding anything that you would take very seriously and have different views on . If it's something like religion, core faith, relationship boundaries. That is a very important thing to take into consideration, because later you guys might have trouble overcoming those types of larger issues.
Put in to the relationship as much as you feel comfortable, and don't try to make up for lost time.
If anything in a relationship ever makes you feel uncomfortable let the other person know without making them to blame, but if they won't respect your requests move on

You haven't had enough quality time with this man. I'm sure if you chose to be together, even as friends, the connection will return - you just need to be *around each other* for that to happen.
Good luck.

i think you just need to find stuff you have in common. maybe he gets nervous when he talks to you. i think you need to let him know how you feel, and see how he feels after that. if you still don't feel anything, then move on. however, if you think there might be a connection or spark still there, then try to have deeper conversations.
