I'm want something creative, unique and symbolic with my son's name. His first and middle names together mean thankful laughter. I want it on my upper back or arm.It doesn't have to be girly but still beautiful, nothing harsh or demonic. I'm African-American with medium dark skin so nothing with color either. Thanks in advance for your suggestions. If you find ideas online please include links.

bonita applebaum - you must like Tribe. :)

I would find something that you associate with him. I got a tattoo in tribute to my daughter about a week ago and am getting an addition to it in a couple of months

Since you know your son best, only you would know the best way to present him and your tribute to him. :) I know that it's not really answering your question but...a tattoo that may mean alot to me may not mean much to you. Know what I mean? :)

Think of what makes him, him and what he means to YOU and what having him meant to YOU....that helped me in designing my tattoo. :)

best of luck!
