The easiest way unfortunately sounds like the most crule.
I would suggest using a wire cage Crate. Once away from the pet store, and home with it's new owner, a puppy will not want to use the restroom in the same area where it sleeps or eats.
If it sounds mean to leave your new love in a small crate up to 6 hours a day, please know that really the puppy feels better and protected, very much like the pleasure of locking doors on a New Beetle in a scary alley at night. Also, puppies love to chew when you are away, because they are really anxious and nervous with all of that space and new objects without any human to navigate.
What feels better to a puppie than a nice pair of leather shoes.. ? Sadly, that would be the vinyl or rubber coating on any electrical cord. Then there is that whole poison issue where puppies must not have any of the mineral Iron.. just a few raisins found under the sofa while you are away would be enough to be fatal. Crate is best.

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://bitly.im/aMRcP
A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

The best way is to first make sure you are spending enough time with your pet, they are just like children. You need to do your part on watching the dog and making sure you are letting it out often. When you bring your dog outside tell it "outside and go potty". Go outside with the dog and watch. After the dog has done its thing make sure to tell it "good dog outside and potty" so that it knows that its a good thing and it will be praised. Dogs are extremely smart, don't under estimate them. If the dog does go potty in the house scold it in a very sturn voice letting them know to go outside and potty. You want the dog to feel that you are disappointed in it not angry. Then put the dog outside as you continually tell them "go potty outside, bad dog" when you bring the dog inside put it in a bed or a kennel for about 5-10 mins remiding it to go outside. Make sure when you take the dog out to let it know that you still love it, but you will not have a nasty dog. Again they are like children, you have to let them know that you have the controll not them. But respect them and love them 100%. If you do this I promise you that you will have a great pet!

Myself, I have three dogs, so I like to consider myself an expert on the subject. I don't know about pitbulls, but in my experience larger dogs are much easier to house train and little dogs are very difficult and very stubborn. I have an eleven month old miniature Dachshund and she still is not completely house trained, but I have been told by many reputable sources that this is not at all uncommon. What has worked best for me in the past, is to put your dog on a schedule. My dogs are fed at 6:15 am and 4 pm and they usually need to go to the bathroom about 45 minutes after they are fed. For a puppy, I would keep a close eye on him after he eats and take him outside, watch him do his business, and then praise him a LOT. Usually your puppy will run towards the door right after you praise him, but if he has not done both, and he hasn't done one of them in a while, he probably still needs to go. Remember, puppies have trouble judging whether or not they need to go to the bathroom, and you are going to need to think for him. Also, make sure your puppy goes outside right after he wakes up, right before you leave, right after you get home, and right before bed. I would recommend taking your puppy out twice in three hours and keep a close eye on him inside. In the event that your puppy goes in the house, only scold him if you catch him in the act. For more tips on house training, you could take a look at "Puppies for Dummies," "Pitbulls for Dummies," and "House-Training for Dummies." Hope this helps, and good luck and have fun with your puppy!

I dont know of any easy ways besides letting them stay outside :(
Confined your puppy to a small, “puppy proof” room. In this case, a “puppy-proof” room means a room that is free from items that may injure your puppy. The room should be big enough for your puppy to stand, sleep, a space for your puppy to play and a potty area.
Cover the elimination area with either papers or other types of dog litter products.
When accidents happen, clean up the area well with a rag or paper towels. Then, leave the rag or paper towels at the elimination area so that your puppy can smell the scent and recognize the area as the place he is suppose to go for potty next time.
In the beginning, your puppy will most likely to eliminate everywhere in the confined room itself and as playful as he is, expect your puppy to play with the papers, chew them and such. You should not get upset or frustrated with this as it is absolutely a normal behavior of a puppy and this should not be the reason for you to punish your puppy. Instead, when you get back, clean the room and replace the papers with fresh, clean ones.
---------
Puppies need to go to the bathroom after they play, chew, drink,
eat or sleep. Start by putting them on a leash and tethering them
to you. That way you can be aware of them when they start
sniffing the ground (usually a cue the puppy needs to go potty).
Pick them up and carry them outside. When they go potty, tell
them "good potty" and give a cookie as a reward. Do not let your
puppy off leash until they have finished going so they get into
the habit of going potty, then playing. Many puppies will want to
go outside just to play if you let them off leash first.

If your dog is gonna be inside then you need to pay extra close attention. If you see him smelling around the house that means he is trying to find a place to do its bussines. Pick him up and take him outside, stay with him until he is finished, when thats over praise him.
As days go by try leaving before he is finished up to the point where you just open the door for him that way he learns that he can do it all by himself. It also helps because he'll warn you when he needs to go sometimes by running to the door.
You need to take your pet out to do its bussines everytime he eats, before he goes to sleep, in the morning, after hes done playing, and just any other time he seems to run to the door or smell around.
