All you can do is pass the word. You can't change another person's heart. That's OK. Sometimes it can take years for people to accept the truth. The seed you plant today may germinate 10 years from now; only God knows. Trust Him, and if you find others hostile to Him, back off. Cast not your pearls before swine. Jesus may yet save them in His own time.

As a Christian, my suggestion (a very wise one, I dare say!) is:
Act like Jesus Christ did!
With respect towards others, with sincere concern, with love. That will do it!
Trust the Holly Spirit to make the seed you planted with your love germinate and grow.
That is all!
God bless you and give you discernment.

I often worry about the same thing. We are taught to save dying souls from burning eternally in Hell. But so many of them today don't want to hear it. They have become reprobate to the Word of God. Satan kills, steals, and destroys. He is stealing their souls and salvation. As Christians, it is heart wrenching. Unfortunately, all we can do is be an example to them. We have to display the Christ that dwells within us. Always act like He would because people are often watching us and we don't even know it. And pray, pray, pray. Pray that God speaks to their hearts and minds. Through these actions, maybe there is hope. Maybe they will see us and want what we have. I know it's so frustrating. God sees your heart's desire...to win souls. He will bless you for it. Just remember: The Holy Spirit is a gentleman. He never twists anyone's arm to believe and accept. That is why those that have blind faith and believe are rewarded so greatly. God bless you.

You don't try to. Just live your life in a manor that they want what you have. A lfe of peacefulness, harmony, and blessed with the Holy Spirit. I know that I can tell when someone is a true Christian and that Jesus is in charge of their life. They don't have any financial problems because they tithe. They have their heads screwed on right. They walk everyday with Christ. It shows in their face. they are always happy and smiling.. If you try to preach to someone that doesn't want you to, it'll drive them so far away from God that they may never come back. They love for you to do that so they can call Christians, crazy, pushy, obnoxious and fanatics. Just walk the walk and it will talk for you. Loud and clear. Just love them and reach your hand out to them in time of need. God bless. And do what Jesus would do.

A quick look at your history of question-asking here strongly suggests that you leave the evangelizing to others. If your goal is to convert people to Christianity, your best choice would be to sit in the background while someone else does the actual contact work.

What a sweet little baby you are, at least your avatar. Sweetums, just tell them about the gospel and move on. It is the work of the Holy Spirit to convince them. Plant little seeds, here and there and let the Spirit move. Be gentle with people though,it is not so good to pounce on them. I like to wait until God opens a door for me to speak to someone, rather than being pushy.

We don't. If they have already made it clear that they don't want to convert, then don't waste your time and focus on people who genuinely do want to learn about Jesus.

In the Bible, Jesus preached to the Pharisees and the scribes. They weren't interested in his message, so he left them alone and instead converted people who were interested.

Now, if the son of God can't change people's minds, who are we to think that we can?

Instead of standing on the street corner and preaching, why not spend time serving the poor, feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, taking care of the sick, etc. The people who we serve will see that Christians are good and loving people, and then they will want to turn to our faith!

If a person has rejected christ ( your choice in belief ) then you should respect that.
In this country , in this life we ALL as humans have a mind of our own have have the right to make our own choices and we are all help accountable for those choices there fore it is in NO way your right or any one elses to condem , change or argue our choices !! If we wanted your opinion or thoughts or views on your beliefs then obviously we would ask.
If you truely believed in your choice you would respect that and let us be judged accordingly as your choice proclaims we will be.

I was sent to New York City for this very purpose. I spent a day in the Ministry in NYC that witnesses to the street people there. When I saw what they did, I asked the pastor, "WHY did you have me go through that? I've done all this?" He said emphatically," You have to go from A to B to C to D to E, all the way down the line through the process to Z to allow the Holy Spirit time to get to anyone's heart to soften their heart."
Unless the Holy Spirit Draw them, unless you love and forgive them, it may never happen.

You don't, we choose to be free minded. You "pray" for us, lowering us in your eyes, pity. The reality is your order is a pity party, and you all are pitying human existence.

We're unclean, sinners, unless we worship this dead Jew that probably would be in Guantanamo Bay Prison, with the "terrorists" or in a mental asylum if he were alive today. You Christians have no idea about your own history, you only know what your preacher tells you.

You all love to toy with the word "pride," well I got a little Ace in my sleeve, is it not pride of man to worship a man? You lower everyone else in your eyes, raise this jesus to epic proportions, and choose to live in your own reality, because you hate the world, and are hoping it ends.

You have essentially washed your hands as Pontius Pilate did, you're clean, you have a spot on the top row of the stadium to watch all of us poor non-believers,homo's,muslims,etc. tear each other apart, while you sit there with pity, praying.

I choose to try to live this life as happily, and morally just as possible. The golden rule is that of which I live by. Treat others as they treat you. You choose to be intolerant of all non-christians;therefore, I do not tolerate you. If there is such a thing as a sin, it's wasted talent, wasting your naturally given gifts, choosing to forfeit your given right to be yourself, and think on your own. I pity you!
