How do i take a picture, and make it B & W but have some things still in color? what program should i use?

Question

EX- some pictures are black and but have the eyes still in color.

what program should i use to get this kind of effect? i can download a software but it has to be a free [or free trial] type software tho bc i dont have the money to buy and programs...

Can i get this effect with the programs i already have? I have Kodak easyshare, HP image, and the basic XP programs that come with the Computer [Paint ect.].

using the lasso tool really isn't that hard, any issue of photoshop or painter should do. Try searching for freeware photomanipulators. you might be able to find a free download of some unknows program that will do the job your looking for. it's not really that difficult if you play around with the program a bit. Photoshop would be the idea choice but you may be able to find something elce
the only problem with trial versions of softwear is you frequently can't save the files. if that's the case you can manipulate the photo and use the "print screen" button and paste it into paint or what ever to save it though this would limit the size.

It's not an easy thing to do. You have to learn how to crop the image out using a lasso; copy and pasting it, etc.

You'll need photoshop CS.
