if it says on the nutrition label
"serving size 2/3 cup
servings per container 2"

how can you figure out the portion size and number of servings?

A serving size the amoune you are supposed to use (or eat if it's food) So if a serving size is 2 cookies, then the nutrition label has the amount of calories, carbs, fat, etc. for 2 cookies only. The more you eat over the serving size, the higher these will go up.

Servings per Container tells you how many servings are in the package/bottle/box. Again, if you are eating Oreos and the serving size is 2 cookies, and it says 15 servings per container, then there are about 30 cookies in the package.

Now... serving size is the same thing as a portion.
And... Serving per Container is the same thing as number of servings.

Is this a trick question?!
Portion size-size of portion.
Servings per container-how many servings(how many time you go back for more)

'Portion' and 'serving size' are the same thing.
That label might as well say:
"portion size 2/3 cup
portions per container 2"

The serving # indicates the quantity of servings within the container.

For example, if you have a can of salmon or something and it says 5 servings... and one serving size is 1 oz... then you should eat one oz.

but if you ate one oz each day it would last you five days... (remember to cover it with foil and stick it in the fridge... heh)
