Well, me and my boyfriend have been together for a over a year now. And we have talked about getting married and children and stuff. We are very dedicated to eachother. He is very sweet to me and treats me right. But his mom doesn't like me and she shows it quit well. She tells him that we aren't going to get married. What do you think is going to happen?

There is no doubt in my mind you will be together for a long time I think if he is as serious as I think he is he loves you very much and he would never leave somone like you. I hope this helps let me know how it gose k ttyl

Its really up to you two what happens in your life. If you are both over 18 there is nothing she can do to stop this. Love can be a very strong thing between two people.
Just think about what you and he wants out of life and if you both want the same then A ok, go for it. Don't let other people get in the way of your life, you only live once.

I think you guys should run off to Vegas get married in the little white chapel on the strip....have a wild week-end staying the whole time in your hotel room! 9 months later give birth to the first of your 5 beautiful kids and on your 25 wedding aniversary toast his mom saying if it wasnt for her you never would have gotten married or even made it that far so thanx mom! we love you!!!!! good luck and God bless the two of you!!!!

If he really wants to be with you he will marry you. Maybe you could try to get along with his mother more to try and change her opinion of you? Then again I do understand some moms are just funny and no-one would be good enough for their sons. If you have talked about this stuff with him then it most likely will happen and if you have a happy fulfilled relationship with him regardless of his mothers feelings towards you.

I know his mother not likeing you upsets you. You just need to be the better person. Bring her over a cake, go out of your way to make conversation and be super sweet to her. Thats all you can do. Her saying things to your boyfriend isn't going to change his mind about you. She either accepts you, or she doesn't. Thats it.

I'll tell you what: if you lasted for more than a year in these circumstances and your love is still powerful, then I see no reason why you shouldn't get married. If he loves you there's no problem at all. Ignore his mother! Good luck!

You may or may not get married that has nothing to do with his mom, a guy will marry you if he loves you not if his mother loves you. If you do get married you will have an annoying mother in law (joy)!

if u 2 love each other enough, it won't matter what his mom says to him. i have a friend who's bf's mom hated her and didn't;t want the 2 to get married, but they did anyway because they loved each other. if he loves u, then he will do what's right in the end.
