To those who think it couldn't happen:

I'm a gay man as well. A "truly" Christian government would do this to the categories you mentioned:
1-Homosexuals: "Our blood shall be upon us".
2-Jail them for life.
3-Jail them for life.
4-Umm, maybe jail them as well, because they're mimicking God??
5-Stone them to death? The Bible is obsessed about stoning..
6- Make them repent!
7-warning them, that they're not on God's will, then force them to have kids.
8-jail them for 5 years.
9-Force them to, and maybe extensive repentance program...

Add to them: The devil singers (Which you can summon the devil by their songs!!)

All of the above, as well as anyone who practiced a different religion or was an Atheist. In a theocracy, they would most certainly jail scientists for making new discoveries or for holding theories that contradicted the bible. They'd jail people who want to protect the environment. They'd also jail divorcees and anyone suspected of adultery. The death penalty would be used for more then just murderers.

And actually, I bet they'd go even further then just putting people in prison, I suspect they'd set up a concentration camp type of system to try and "cure" people.

if it was like that, then it would be a dictatorship, and i don't believe that's right. if you force someone into christianity, it just gives them more reason to hate us. i don't think people should be forced to say under God, but it was originally put in the pledge and some of us still say it, so don't make a big deal about how you shouldn't have to say that or try to have it taken out. just don't say it if you don't like it. i believe abortion, etc should be illeagal because i believe the baby is alive which means it's just another type of murder and murder is illeagal. i believe homosexuallity is a sin and it's wrong, but people have that choice, just like they have the choice to do any other sin. but i don't think homosexuals should be allowed to marry. people say they should because if they can't, then they don't have the same rights as heterosexualls, not true. all people have the right to marry someone of the opposite sex, who is at least a certain age(or has parental consent), isn't married, etc. no where in there does it say you have the right to marry "the person you love", if they're the opposite sex, etc. what if the peson i love isn't old enough, is already married, etc? then i don't have the right to marry the person i love. so they do have the same rights.

A true christian would not jail any of these people. Even though these are things that a christian would not believe in or think is wronge, accourding to christian belief systems they should love these people no matter what the choices they make are. Christians just like liberals have been catagorized by the loud few and if we believe what we hear from just that loud few as a hole for the entire group we are just as closed minded as they are.

A Christian government would most likely pass laws making all of those things illegal - and could therefore jail anyone in those categories. I imagine that ministers and followers of other religions would be in trouble as well.

All of us would be...our current thug in control would love to create a christo-based theocracy based upon the Taliban ideas...which is the reason why it is VERY important to vote the lying jackals out of office and into the International War Crimes docket.

I think they would jail all and also those who publicly tried to practice their religious beliefs or were vocal about their non-belief. If one doesn't think that would happen perhaps they should research England & France's history.

None of the above, unless those acts were illegal. Even a Christian government must be based on democracy.
