To uninstall Internet Explorer 7 to return to Internet Explorer 6 on Windows XP

Click "Start," and then click "Control Panel."
Click "Add or Remove Programs."
Check "Show Updates" at the top of the dialog box.
Scroll down the list and highlight the version of Internet Explorer 7 that you are running, and then click "Change/Remove."
Uninstall that,restart your PC and you are on IE6

Start>>Control Panel>>Add/Remove.

Ensure there's a tick next to Show Updates, then remove IE7 from the Add/Remove list, and IE6 should reappear.

go into : start --> control panel --> add remove programs -->

select IE7 and uninstall .. you will go back to your other verison automatically ... if while you are uninstalling IE7 and is pops up a window that says 'you have loaded these programs with IE7 ....... do you want to continue' - press "yes" ..... and viola

Go to Control Panel, (under Start) and Add/Remove programs. Uninstall IE 7 and IE 6 will then be there.

Simply uninstall it from the add/remove window like you do other programs, and IE 6 will automatically installed.

Just uninstall in add/remove pgms and it will revert.
