I have a box of Crest Whitestrips from quite a while ago and I want to use them but I'm wondering if they expire or loose their effectiveness.

Most all bleaching solutions loose their potency after a year or two. I would imagine that Crest is the same way. If in doubt call their 800 # and ask. It shouldn't hurt to use them, they just won't be nearly as effective. I've use some bleaching solution after the expiration date and haven't had any problems. Give them a try, if they don't work throw them out. Good luck.

Yes after a while they do expire. There should be an expiration date on the box but if you no longer have the box they are good for about 2-3 years. They won't hurt you if they are expired they just won't do the job. Hope this helps!

I would look to see if there is an expiration or sell by date on the box

I would think they would expire after a while it depends on how long you have had them!!! Just in case you have had them a while you might want to ask your dentist if it's okay before putting it into your mouth!!!

I would think so. Please look on the box and it should have a expire date on it.
