I have a particular picture which has yellow flowers in the foreground and mountains and sky in the backround, see it at: www.mick75.deviantart.com (then click on "Yellow Flowers")
I want the backround to be Black & White and keep the flowers their origional colour. Can this be done with Photoshop and How?

Yes it can be done in Photoshop. here is how:

1) Cut out the flower or the back ground using a lasso tool.
2) Put them on separate layers
3) Change the color mode or adjust the saturation for the background.

Oh my. I have wanted to do this for a lengthy time period! We used to have Paintshop and Photoshop yet that develop into about 6 months in the past and that i had no theory what they even were, and then we were given a sparkling computing device and it wasn't on there! So yeh, thankyou for that, I have only downloaded Gimp! ;DD x
