I've been on a couple of dates with this guy the last week. He seems to be a whole lot interested in physical stuff. A couple of days ago, he asked me if I wanted to be his girl. And I think I do, because I like him, we have a good time when we're together. But he doesn't show it much, that he's into me. When it comes to physical stuff, then he's caring and sweet, but apart from that, he's not very romantic or showing much emotions. I've told him how I feel, but he says he really likes me. But I'm afraid he might be just a player. We text eachother several times a day. But when I show that I'm interested, he pulls back, and tries to play cool. That annoys me. I'm starting to think I should just stay away and see what happens. I don't want to grow too attached to him, and then he might turn me down. I don't want to keep nagging about it either. I just don't know what to do. I just feel he's not really interested, not as much as I am. Should I just back off for a while?

i would suggest not doing either. why dont you continue dating for a while, with no commitment from either of you. it may be that he is not sure of his feelings, that he is scared, or that he does not show his feelings much. continue dating, but dont get too emotionally involved until you are both sure what you want. make sure to let him know what you expect if and when you decide to take things more seriously. if he cant meet this, than walk away. you deserve better. good luck

I would just stay cool. Lay back for awhile and see what happens.Let nature take its course for awhile, and time will tell you a lot.
he may just be one of those guys who doesnt show much as far as emotions, and he could have this thing where he has to keep everything low and cool because of friends - like an image.
I would just give it some time and see where things go - time will also tell you if he is a player - a lot of guys are.

All guys are not big balls of affection. Some show how they feel diffrently. Tht guy that I am with has told me that he loves me and wants to be with me but he never tells me that he loves me or anything like that. We would argue about it and since he knows that I have to have that constant level of affection he is doing better and trying to give it to me. But it didn't happen over night. It took a series of fights to get him to see my point. If you think he is worth it stay there and work with him. If he tells you that he can't give you what you need walk away.

If your feeling like he isn't interested, let him go. No matter if he tells you he is interested, something he is doing is making you question whether he really means it. Guys will say what they think you want to hear, to get what they want (the physical stuff) You shouldn't have to question if someone likes you.

There's a middle between leaving him alone and being his girlfriend that people sometimes forget about.

Go out with him and get to know him better without any commitments on either side.

That way you'll know him better....he'll know you better before you decide to be his girlfriend.

It' used to be called "dating".

Not only should you back off now, you should back off forever. This guy is bad news for your life. He is definitely going after the sex.
