Is there a way to make grilled chicken, without actually having a grill???? It's winter here so i cant make it outside, and i have no indoor sort of grill. Maybe make it in the oven, on broil or something? i want the chicken to have that grilled flavor.

all good ideas, how about using your broiler in your oven?
i would marinate it, don't put sauce on it right away, let it cook under the broiler for a bit, then in the last 10 minutes, baste with sauce, cook 5 min, turn over, baste again, 5 minutes more..
good luck

darlin120 has it right, only I would add: cut up your chicken
into portion sized pieces. Don't broil liver or gizzard. Don't
put any BBQ sauce on until chicken is practically done.
Why? When broiling the chicken (or anything with marinade) it tends to sputter and spew, and can cause a fire.

Get yourself a good home made BBQ sauce or marinade
recipe. They sure taste better than bottled. To test for
doneness,. stick a fork in a fleshy part of leg or breast.
If no blood runs and meat is not pink- it's ready to eat.
Hope you have an exhaust fan, cause your oven may
start smoking. The only way you can get "the grilled flavor"
is from a bottle. The chicken will taste great without it.

We use a grill pan with a domed cover for boneless chicken breasts. Just season and spray lightly with Pam for Grilling, then grill at medium temperature (pre-heat the pan).

Yes, Take a frying pan add nothing but raw chicken and spice it, you can spray the pan down with cooking spray and cook it on each side for a few minutes until it looks cooked with a fork .

But I need to warn you its Delicious but the pan might need a good washing.

If you have a bottle of hickory smoke flavoring make a marinade. Add some of that to a little olive oil, fresh garlic, salt & pepper, and then bake with the marinade.

Tandoori! You can do it on a grill pan, oven or broiler(best).

You'll get chargrilled flavor & no mess!
