he is only doing what comes naturally
He does not understand that he is being anti-social ,
Quite the opposite .
In a cat of that age, he is marking his territory
( his home, and that includes any one in it !)
It does no good at all to ''swatt him'' ,
that will only make him timid and upset him.
Have you had him fixed yet
this habit usually dies down, in a fixed male cat
if you leave it any longer,
. the habit will be and impossible to change
A solution of 50% white vinegar and water
should be used to wipe up,
all sprayed areas ( cats do not like the smell of vinegar )
and will be reluctant to spray in that place with the vinegar scent still there
I hope this has helped you,
and you and your kitten have a long and happy friend-ship together

If he's not neutered, do that. It'll help alot.
If he is neutered, try spraying him with a mixture of vinegar and water (just once) on the head/face.
Use citrus-scented cleansers and air-fresheners on the areas he has sprayed -- it wont make the scent go away, but it'll help.
Since he's young, it's good to stop it now rather than later.

I'm guessing this is a male cat. This the cats way of marking it's territory the only way to stop him from doing this is to have him neutered

you're saying you have already tried a twig bottle of water yet no longer how long you used it for. regrettably behaviour modification can take longer than you may think of each so often yet consistency is the biggest to something of this nature. perchance you may desire to upload a citrus oil to the water as cats do no longer in basic terms like the scent of orange alongside with in basic terms an corporation "NO!" Does your cat launch itself from the comparable section each and each time to stand up onto the artwork section? if it relatively is the case placed double sided sticky tape in that section and different components you think of she might desire to launch herself from plus some on the sting of the artwork section. stable success, i wish you hit upon something that works for you and your cat. :D

Get him fixed. If he's not fixed that marking of territory only gets worse and so does the smell.

Neuter him! This will greatly reduce his need to mark territory.

That's why one has them 'fixed'. Sure cuts down on the horrible smell that lingers in the area..
