It makes you chill out and fall asleep. My Dad had valium for his back, and even though they told him not to drink alcohol, he thought he was really tough and had a beer anyway. He was very funny and out of it. We laughed at him a lot.

I'm a bit late here, but valium at 15 mg is not that much, I would not worry- that much will put someone to sleep if combined with alcohol if that person is benzodiazepine naive -.i.e. if that person has never taken a benzodiazepine, or hasn't for a really long time.

Now what did you go & do a silly thing like that for?
Don't wait for an answer here, call the nearest emergency room, & ask your question there.
The short answer is: No alcohol should be consumed while taking a drug like valium.

Bad mix. Valium slows down the central nervous system and may intensify the effects of alcohol.

I hope it's not fatal, but call 911as soon as you see bad symptoms.

Probably not a lot.

It amplifies the valium, but that's not enough valium to speak about.

valium with alcohol equation:

valium miligram x (5)12 oz of beer = multiplied effect of valium

5(12) = death.

Heart attack, respiratory arrest, liver damage... It's a stupid idea. But, something tells me you are going to do it anyway. Enjoy your Darwin award.
