"The Little Prince"
Chapter Eighteen
The little prince crossed the desert and met with only one flower. It was a flower with three petals, a flower of no account at all.
"Good morning," said the little prince.
"Good morning," said the flower.
"Where are the men?" the little prince asked, politely.
The flower had once seen a caravan passing.
"Men?" she echoed. "I think there are six or seven of them in existence. I saw them, several years ago. But one never knows where to find them. The wind blows them away. They have no roots, and that makes their life very difficult."
"Goodbye," said the little prince.
"Goodbye," said the flower.

thay don't know where they come from. Who is my father? where do I come from? I have a friend who has a daughter in his native land, I will call him John. He went back to see his family and to get to know this daughter. During the course of the visit her son thanked his Grand-pa for coming not for himself but for his mother. those of us who have roots can't comprehend what it means not to have them. That goes for me as well, but for some people it really means a lot. (they have no roots, and that makes their life very difficult) means to me: when you are having one of those days when you flunked a text, one you knew backwards as well as forward, the dog really ate your homework, your friends are mad at you for ,/.,. You just go home and collapse in that chair and in comes , that special person and puts their arms around you and says ,been there, did this. you know you have just fallen in that special root place. and everything is going to be fine. think about it not having that place to fall, to go to. difficult very, difficult.
