That just happened to my friend. She had dyed it on a tuesday night, and the color was blotchy because she did it by herself. I had her come over that friday and I re-did her hair. We used black which is the most damaging, so it probably wasn't the best idea, but her hair is fine. She has healthy hair for the most part so it was okay. If your hair isn't in good shape wait at least a couple of weeks. If it's healthy. wait until about Tuesday to dye it again, but this time, get a friend to dye it this time.

Some people dye it every week. Dying doesn't fry your hair, its bleaching that does that. Also, apply to roots only at first, then pull colour out to the tips for the last 3 - 5 minutes.

When you start to see ur roots growin out and it looks bad. That should be in about in 1-2 months depending on how fast your hair grows. But dyeing your hair too often can make it weak after a while so be careful !!!! Good luck

Well in college I dyed my hair myself, went into the hair salon a day later to get it fixed and a week later went back to get it fixed again.... My hair was fine. But I wouldn't do it more than that.

you can color it anytime. just don't change the shade, keep it the same. next time wet your hair, then at the last 10 min. of processing wet your hair to emlusify it and work it thriugh all over and let stand the last 10. this should cover any spots not covered.

i've been going through a re-dyeing process myself, and i am waiting two weeks between.
i know they recommend waiting at least a week if you want to dye then perm (or perm then dye) your hair. i'm waiting extra for good measure.
there is usually a number on the dye instructions to call with questions, also.

If it's just to fix it, you can do it now, I mean, it won't do any bad if you use the same one!
In case you're really afraid to damage your hair, or if it's really thin, then just wait for a week or so.
I already died my hair, didn't like it and died it the same day, nothing bad happened.
