Due to their belief that this world doesn't matter and its only a testing/proving ground for the "eternal reward", they've put on their religious blinders. Joshua of Nazareth (aka Jesus Christ) is the only human being they ever cared about or ever will. Therefore, seeing his torture and execution touches them deeply....much more deeply than all the death and suffering going on around them in the world today.

Do you mean at the death of Christ? Because He loved us so much that he died in our place to give eternal life. I know you can not relate to this. Let me say it this way, If you had a friend that you really loved and trusted and that person died a horrible death to protect your life, how would you feel? When you know Christ< He becomes a part of your soul, spirit and mind, it is hard to not care about the pain he endured. He on the other hand does not want our sympathy He wants our love and obedience. Like any Father. You call it a myth, but I know better, Jesus is real.

Why don't you ask Him this question when you stand before Him and give account for every vicious thing you've ever said here?

In the meantime, those of us who love Him will continue to pray for you. We'd hate to see you be one of the "mything" in action on the day that He calls us Home.

i have never heard or seen anything called passion of the myth. and i am a Christian. i have however seen the passion of Christ. it is a very good showing of the torture Jesus endured for us all. it made me cry. Mel Gibson did really great job with that movie!

Because it's not a myth to us and it shows how narrow minded you are thinking that everyone should believe the same as you.

A man rejects God neither because of intellectual demsnands nor because of the scarcity of evidence. A man rejects God because of a moral resistance that refuses to admit his need for God.
