I was a registered massage therapist for a while and some of my clients were ticklish but they told me ahead of time and I never had a problem with a massage being uncomfortable for them.
Let your therapist know that you are ticklish and he/she should be careful not to do feather or light touches.
It's very very relaxing!

It really depends. One of my very good friends, who is a massage therapist, graduated from the best massage therapy school in the U.S. and she has given me massages over the years, so I know something about this. She has worked at the best spa down in Houston, TX, and also at the spa in the world-renowned Hotel Hershey, right near where we both live, in Hershey, PA.
If it's a deep-tissue massage, it will most likely hurt rather than tickle, but you aren't required to get a deep-tissue massage. If it's any other type of massage, then it really depends on how sensitive you are to being touched. In any case, you won't know until you try, and even if it tickles the first time, you will become desensitized to that after a while and soon it will just be relaxing. You will also find that you will feel more energized when it's over because it really helps the blood circulation in your body.

It depends on exactly what kind of massage you're getting. With a deep tissue massage, you're going to hurt way more than tickle because there is so much pressure. Light and wimpy massages will tickle you, so make sure you see a professional--they know how to apply the proper pressure.

If somebody is skilled in giving massages, they can generally give good massages without much tickling. There might be a little tickling as they learn how much pressure to apply to prevent the tickling or you might find that they have the right touch from the beginning.
I have an offer for you... Come visit me and I will tickle you for an hour or two (playfully and respectfully) and then I will give you a long massage! (You can tickle me, too!)
Sound good???

No way, it's very relaxing. And kind of sexy if an opposite sex is the massager!
