I'm very nice, believe it or not, but naive? Hell no.
Some people prefer to play the nice-but-dumb act because it means less responsibility-- they don't need to develop judgment, make decisions or grow up. Being "nice" is their way of avoiding some unpleasant things in life, and refusing to deal with them.

I can understand why you would think this about nice people. However, I am one of these so called "nice people" and I do realize that there are some people with alterior-selfish motives. I choose to accept the fact that their will be the occasional time where I get burned but most of the time people are genuinely good and appreciate my help.

Certainly not, they may be less selfish than some but that does not make them naive.
There are many times a nice person will be down right pleasant or helpful in a situation where they know they are essentially being screwed.
It is much easier to be polite and courteous than get involved in a confrontation.

no, they don't believe everthing is good, but they tend to trust people more and care more about others feeling over theirs and sometimes get hurt ablong the way because they don't want to harm anyone. but that's better than being mean because you can get more out of being nice. Mean people are not as happy as nice peole in the long run. anyway, whatever you put out is what you get in return. so if you're nice, you might find someone nice along the way.

Obama is a wild man when it comes to the war. He lacks the knowledge to make a good decision. It is scarey to listen to him talk about cozying up to terrorists like Hamas, and haveing a little chat with iran. I think a high school boy could make a more realistic assessment and plan where the war is concerned than Obama. Im not a repub. but I will vote McCain in nov. At least he talks out of his mouth while obamas rhetoric seems to come out streamming out of his rectal area, like a bad case of diarrhea..

That's generally how they turn out. Being nice is obviously a good quality, but not to the point of being a pushover. Everyone has to put their guard up once in a while.

Nice people are "compassionate" people. They know there is a bunch of evil minds out there too. But they just choose to be good.
