Men are not that complex - if he says he doesnt want a relationship right now than he doesnt. He is probably having a good old time sewing his oats w the college girls - which is very normal at this age. Frankly I would more concerned if he was pushing for more at this stage in his life. I wouldnt wait it out if I were you after he is done w school then he will have to deal w 1st jobs, adjusting to life on his own and he may have to move. He is really just beginning his life.

You have been given some very blunt signs that this guy is not all that into you as girlfriend material. First, he pays no physical attention to you when people he knows are around. Second, he TOLD you and your friend that he does not want to be in a relationship right now. What more do you need to know that he just wants to be friends and maybe get around to fool around and not call you his girl. He has been honest with you but you just do not want to accept that. You need to realize that although he is sweet and loving, he does not want a girlfriend now. You have been fore warned, listen up before you get too involved and end up getting hurt. Another reason why boys say they do not want a relationship right now is because they are exploring and have several girls they flit in between so they never commit to any one girl. When a guy only shows attention to you when no one else is around, for whatever reason they give you, it really means they are not that into you and don't want anyone to find out or they are ashamed of you. If he had good intentions for you, he would be proud to show his feelings in public. But, the bottom line is HE told you he does not want to date anyONE right now. So, either fantasize otherwise and get hurt or move on to an available boy if you do not want to be used by this one.

When a guy tells you he doesn't want a relationship right now, that means "with you". He wants to see what all is out there...and he should...so should you. It sux that it hurts so much, but the best way to get over someone is with someone else. This is the time to see what all is out there so when you find "the one" you know it. You won't give anyone else a chance, because you are hung up on him. Put a smile on your face (even if you don't mean it) people like to be around happy people. If you really want him back...ignore him. Be happy, act like you don't care...if that don't get him back, nothing will. There are lots of fish in the sea, don't think he's the only one.

so what if it is the first love...move on and have more...sorry your question I found rather idiotic and I am only being honest...so if you feel the need to report me pls do so.
Let me tell you something...after I finished college all I wanted to do was travel and to discover who I was because I was your age. You may think that you know what you want...but you don't. I travelled the world...I mean the WORLD! I am a new person and my priorties changed, which they do when you get older.Today and I was able to choose a suitable male for myself to marry.
I am not being mean to you but just trying to give you some good advice...you make the call.

You never forget your first love, so I know this is hard on you. It sounds like he has a lot to deal with right now.Give him some space. While you are waiting take care of yourself. do some relaxing and self improved things to keep your mind busy. Then see what happens in 6 months. Remember if his parents are controlling now, they always will be. Can you live with that?

When a guy says "i dont want a relationship right now" it's time for you to listen, and move on. He's moving on and having a fun life- you should too. Your first love has ended- most all of them do.

If he says he doesn't want a relationship, then back off. WAY off. If you pursue it, he'll run for the hills, and then you'll never stand a chance.
