I think you should. I believe, regardless of whether you are a vet. of this war or a previous war, that your status as former military does hold sway.
So I say wear it, if for no other reason than the fact that you have served means that you have more right to protest, as it is one of the freedoms you helped to protect, than those who did not serve.
Patriotism is not following bad leadership blindly it is appreciating what you have and trying to make things better for your society and your future. If people don't like the fact that you are wearing your uniform during a protest than they have really missed what "freedom" is all about.

Sure you can. Many had done the same before. Wearing a military uniform in the middle of an anti-war protest won't make an unpatriotic person out of you.

Wear anything.
Wear a Brioni suit. Wear your military uniform. Wear a clown suit. Doesn't matter.
Al Zarkawi and all the terrorists who have openly ridiculed stupid American "anti-war" activists as their salvation will be laughing their a** off at you.
Why not clue us in on your reasons. If the scumbag terrorists have repeatedly said the only way they can win this conflict is through the naivete of the American public via their anti-war demonstrations, why would you willingly fall into their trap?
Add a comment. We're all waiting to hear your reasons.

If you are looking for a good a** kicking go for it. It will be the perfect opportunity. You should also post where the next protest will be so that some of your fellow service members can meet you there. Should be a nice reunion.

You're not authorized to wear it at a political rally, which is what you will be attending...so wear it if you truly don't want to honor what you swore to uphold when you were active you piece of slime. Voice your opinions, go for it, but leave your uniforms behind. Have a little pride in your service and country.

No fool, you are no longer a DOD employee, therefore you have no authority to wear their uniform, but you go ahead to your anti war protest, (without brain) of coarse!

Yeah, i would wear it....let the Bush Babies know that some vets think this current CF is nothing but BS...
Bush has his own private war because he is the "Decider"' and our Senators and Congressmen don't have the stones to stop this Air National Guard wannabe..

If your not active duty you should'nt be wearing a uniform. If someone asks if you're a vet you say "yes". Don't be an ***.

are you going to wear the same uniform when you show up at the VA when you want the benefits that you are screaming about now? sounds like you are being two faced to me. there were people that supported you when you were over there, so why are you turning your back on your brothers in arms? you sound like another JOHN KERRY to me
