Call the vet and tell them that she needs to be spayed right now. It's not true that cats or dogs can't be spayed while they're in heat, so call your vet, who can give you the best information - and an appointment. She may cost a bit more when she's in heat, but it would be well worth it for the peace and quiet !
**Myth: Female dogs and cats can't be spayed while in heat.
Fact: Dogs and cats can safely be spayed while in heat or
pregnant. Trust in the judgment of your veterinarian.**

Don't take it back to where it came from even if the mother found it this cat already smells like you. Do as many have said and take it to the vet for its first round of shots and also to be checked for all the other regular health screening. This wont cost to terribly much but at least the vet will be able to show you in the right direction. I hope you are feeding this kitten its mother milk formula and not human milk if so stop because its intestines can not handle that much protein (no cat can) A powder mix wont cost you very much either and at 5 weeks it should not need to be bottle fed. The cats that I have nursed normally only meowed for 3 reasons. 1. needed to be shown where the bathroom was 2. need to be shown where the food was 3. needs some loving and lastly never feed a kitten on its back

Cat's in heat are the most obnoxious thing in the world. Buy some ear plugs keep her inside and wait for the heat cycle to pass and get her spayed ASAP cause I know you don't want to hear that the rest of your life. The local humane society will most likely do it for between 60-80 dollars.

Unfortuantely, there's not a lot you can do, except to get her spayed ASAP. I'm going through the same thing with my cat (aged 11 months); my vet doesn't want to spay her until she's a year old due to some problems she has. I will be delighted when it's time!!!!

You need to get her spayed! She can be spayed now, while she's in heat but most vets charge extra for that. Otherwise, just wait till she's out of heat and have it done then.
