Non uniform day - hair style!?

We're having a non-uniform day on Tuesday at school and I want a really funky hairstyle. I'm bored with straightening, plaiting and curling my hair. Can anyone suggest an amazing hairstyle that's simple to do and not to over-done for school [but it doesn't have to be completely boring as it IS non-uniform day]?

i suffer from the same hair bordem.
anything messy and flyaway is ment to be fashionable at the moment. so just scrunch it up and experiment.
