Yes, I am a virgin (age 19). There are days when I would rather die a virgin than not. Is this really such a bad thing?

No not at all, its your choice to do what ever you want sexually. There many pressures from people, society, media to be some sort of crazed sex person; just pick up a copy of Cosmo or Maximum all you read nowadays is sex sex and more.. More than anything I believe its quite unique of you to go against the grain of all this. This could be just a phase, but embrace how ever you feel and don't let other peoples opinions blind you.. do what is right for you.

Hi there,

I lost my virginity at 21 and although I don't remember a great deal about it now, I was terrified at the time and don't really think I was even ready to either. Sex is something that is often treated so casually by so many people that it must put a lot of people off?

I think that you are smart for your age and respect yourself a great deal more than some young women of your age would. You are not really missing out on very much by not wanting to have sex and it doesn't really change anything unless you become pregnant. But I do think that it is something that you will at some point in your life want to try out unless you dislike men that much you would never.

We are only here for a short time but people really do abuse sex today and treat it as if it is no longer special or means anything. I would encourage all women to never sleep with a man unless you have known him long enough as someone you like and trust first and won't regret being intimate with him. It is very rare for someone to not lose their virginity and the majority of us do and usually because we end up with a boyfriend who wants a lot more than just friendship.

I didn't really fancy my first boyfriend that much but he was so sweet and kind to me and things just happened naturally. He was a great guy and I came to love him very much but he turned out to be bisexual and that was our five years together over in a flash. Then I just met one horrible boyfriend after another until I got to 30 and haven't had a boyfriend since! - I am 33 now and have really grown to dislike a lot of men because most of them are horrid even though there are some really nice ones out there too.

I think staying a virgin all your life is a beautiful dream nearly all young women have but it is short lived for many and mostly because of peer pressure. If you can stay a virgin then that would be amazing for you and I wish you so much luck.I don't regret losing my virginity and I can tell you that when you get more older and further into your twenties, it is very difficult to control your body from what it desires!.

You would not have lived a full and varied life if you choose to remain a virgin, but then the way some men treat women today ,
I don't blame any woman who would want to keep her virginity.

If it is what you want to do, then do it and because it is your body and your choice and that is what is important more than anything else.

It is not a bad thing to want to keep your virginity. It is a little concerning that you are giving so much thought about death at age 19, but if you are just trying to plan your life then being a virgin is perfectly acceptable.

No. Just don't worry about it. When that urge comes focus on working out or whatever you like to do. If you are meant to have sex you will if not it's no big deal. The cons actually outweigh the pros if you think about it For a momentary pleasure you could get an STD or a kid. Abstinence is the only 100% way. I would wait till marriage.

As a guy who's been married two times, enable me throw out an concept that no person else has. Marriage is approximately compatibility. If it is going to final, and it is going to final, the two considered one of you'll be a stable adventure. there are countless issues couples do no longer think of approximately in the previous they tie the knot. Do you spend you funds the comparable way, do you like the comparable nutrition, are you able to the two be pleased with 1 yet another's homestead projects standards. i be attentive to folk who have been given divorced simply by fact considered one of them hated the noises the different one made whilst he ate. Being sexually nicely suited is an element of it. Do you the two like the comparable form of intercourse and prefer it as in many cases? If no longer, down the line it is going to reason issues. i've got lost count quantity how many marriages i be attentive to of first hand that fell aside simply by fact he needed it each and every day and she or he did no longer desire it extra suitable than as quickly as a month, or any opposite direction around. So for you, i might say, certainly, make specific the two considered one of you're a stable extra healthful. Get engaged, and stay mutually for a 365 days. In that 365 days, make love, share a financial corporation account, do one yet another's laundry, each little thing that a pair does. in case you're a stable adventure on each little thing get married.

There are worse things with which to die. But you're only 19, so you've got plenty of time to get popped.

no, its not... a lot of girls are into that... and it's something you need to wait for the right time with. people take sex too lightly... i am married, have been for 4 years, and i regret ever being with any man before my husband... honestly, everyone has an opinion
