Why do you think its only mothers who raise children? I'm a single parent and I have a full time job. I don't feel oppressed. I feel very good about it. The number of single fathers who have custody of their children has been steadily increasing since the early 90s. Mother's are very capable of being deadbeats and convicted felons who don't pay any child support. Did you know that?

Only the Christian mothers do that?

I don't see it as oppression. Many mothers have to work. It's more about government and societal priorities though. Many countries actually pay mothers for staying home and raising their children. Most Americans cry foul if they are taxed to pay for anything they don't see a personal benefit in.

No, raising children is a valid occupation and is not a sign of oppression or inequality. Men and women can choose to stay home and take care of children.

raising children is definatly the hardest Job but some women would chose to work over that we at least have a choice.

i think so very much so, that is why i believe the bible says that sexual relations is to be in the boundaries of marriage and that divorce should not be an option which it seems to be so common nowadays like marriage is really dating. there are to many single mothers with the father no where to be found or irresponsible.

Why on earth would you address that towards 'Christian' mothers? I don't think there is any correlation between religion and the decision to stay home with the kids or go back to work.

OK Brainiac - who should raise the kids? The goverment?

I think there are also many non-Christian mothers "raising" the kids.

Your point is very muddy - what the heck are you talking about "work and raise the kids"??

Next time please think before you type.

Its their choice. When people want it all, someone suffers, in this case the children.

Biology says they must be the child bearers. There is nothing to say they must be the child rearers.
