It depends on the people's likes and dislikes, age and what you are able to do.
We all can't fly to Italy or Paris, so you have to use your imagination.
You don't have to spend all of your money on a 1st date and if that's what she wants, then I wouldn't want to pursue it any more. That would only mean she wants money and not you.
Putting alot of thought into that night or doing something simple and sweet might mean more than spending your whole check.
Cook dinner if you are capable. Buy a nice little bouquet of wildflowers, maybe with 1 red rose stuck in. Or a little stuffed animal holding the flowers.
Try to make the other comfortable, sit and talk all night or go for a drive.
Whatever you decide, make sure you put alot of thought into it and have a good time.
