My wrist tattoo was my easiest by far. For me, it never hurt. I did have a sharp pinch every once in awhile but the rest of the time was like a dull pricking. I actually enjoyed it.

The foot is a painful place. Same with the ankle.

I am a tattoo artist in training ... and I have done several tattoos on myself . I have about 5 tats on my wrist one that is actually on top of my hand just above the wrist I even have one in the palm of my hand ALL of which I gave myself ...
Out of the 5 the 3 that are on the bottom of my wrist did not hurt hardly at all it kind of felt like a rug burn while I was doing the tattoo and afterward. The one on my top of the wrist didnt hurt all before or after. The one on my hand hurt extreemly bad ...
But every person has there own pain tolerance and therefore just becuase mine did not hurt dose not mean that yours will not . It is all in what you believe you can handel.

Hope this helps !!

I have the inside of my wrist tattooed. It was a cake walk compared to the others. I had no problems sitting through it at all.

the wrist is tender. it'd hurt a little bit, but not as bad as like a stomach or a neck tattoo. a little worse than a shoulder tattoo. let's just put it that way.

i have a tattoo on the top side of my wrist, which was the least painful of all my tattoos so far.
it was more of an annoyance actually, than a pain.
