I like one of my friends and i dont want to ruin our friendship by asking her out. I like her and i think she likes me too. I dont want to ruin our friendship by asking her out. This has happened to me once before and I dated my best friend for a couple of months. We broke up and i lost my best friend. What should I do. I dont want a repeat of my past relationship. But i really like her.
Please give me some advise.

Put it all out on the table. I have dated friends in that past and expressed interest in friends in the past.

Sit her down and tell her that do have feelings for her.Ask her frankly if she would like to try dating. Emphasize that you respect and value the friendship and would not like to do anything to jeopardize that and if she is not interested then you would still very much like to go maintaining the friendship that you already have.

Make sure you make it clear that the relationship that you have now as friends is important and regardless of what happens you would to continue with it.

Be mature in your approach and if she is not interested be prepared to provide the same level of friendship you once had. For the sake of the friendship do not push the issue, just leave the ball in her court.

It may work out it may not, but you don't want to lose a friend in the process.

Why do you continue to get yourself in these situations is what I would like to know. Do you find it difficult to move out of your safety zone.

Only you can say what is best for you. There is a chance that you might lose a friend if you ask her out. Then maybe not.

Well, there is no real good answer other then to take a chance. If your friendship is strong enough, nothing should get in the way. Also remember, friends first, then if it's right, maybe more...Jim

The best thing I can tell you to do is take a time out, sit in your room with some really good music and think about it, listen to your heart and if it's the right thing to do your heart will tell you to do it, if it isn't then your heart won't... Always listen to your heart

You should talk to her. If things go wrong well dating, ask her if you can still be friends. Love is hard, remember that. It's life. Good Luck!
